Internship Opportunities

Long Beach Utilities offers valuable and high-quality paid internship opportunities to college students within the water, sewer and natural gas industries. The program allows students to gain experience while developing the community’s workforce. Past students have obtained internships in Engineering, Finance, Water Quality, Warehouse, Water Operations, Emergency Preparedness, Security, Facilities Maintenance, and Fleet Services division. Internships are offered year-round for a minimum of 8 weeks. Internships will be posted here as opportunities open.
